Process media, such as activated carbon, can become exhausted or "spent." Some customers prefer not to have any process media removed and replaced at their site.
TIGG's off-site process activated carbon media removal and adsorber exchange program involves moving the vessel containing the spent media off-site to one of our service centers.
The adsorber vessel is emptied, inspected and refilled with fresh activated carbon or with the appropriate process media and then returned to the customer. The spent process media is then properly disposed of or reactivated.
Off-site process media removal and vessel adsorber exchange can be achieved using either TIGG or customer-owned vessels.
