TIGG offers multiple types of Vapor Phase filtration media. |
TIGG's filter media products are offered for vapor phase applications where virgin activated or reactivated carbon filter media are not cost-effective. The specific applications are described within the product data sheets for the various adsorbents.
These vapor phase filter media product base materials are either completely different or are impregnated carbons where only the large surface area of activated carbon is important for making the active ingredient improve performance.
The smaller mesh sizes are for units with lower design maximum flow rates, typically less than 75 fpm.
Activity gives an indicator of the capability of the particular adsorbate to provide surface loading.
All vapor phase adsorbents are capable of producing non-detectable effluent quality for adsorbates, which are cost-effectively adsorbed.
