CANSORB C750 Skid System
Modular Adsober Skid Systems
The CANSORB C750 Skid System is useful for applications where treatment of water by C750’s in series is desired. The modular adsorbers are C750’s and are fabricated of carbon steel with a vinyl ester lining. The C750 is typically supplied with maximum fill adsorbent but can be operated with the skid with the additional backwash capability if the unit fill is reduced. The C750 T vessel is similarly constructed but is taller so that it can be backwashed with the full standard unit fill.
The C750 and C750 T Skid Systems are fabricated of steel piping and are shipped to the site generally preassembled. Typically, the skid is offloaded and placed into the operating area and then the adsorbers are usually spotted onto the skid with the subsequent addition of the backwash and inlet piping sections. Skids are provided with expansion joints and pressure gauges to monitor pressure drop of vessels and piping during process flow and backwash operations. Valves are conveniently located to operate vessels in series or single stage while backwash process is completed or while media in the other vessel is exchanged.

C750 SKID SYSTEM NOTES:
1) Desired contact time may require lower flow rates.
2) Dry virgin activated or reactivated carbon provided as standard adsorbent.
3) Maximum adsorbent fill is based on a media density of 27 lb/ft3.
4) Maximum adsorbent fill can differ based on variable media densities.
