TIGG Christens New Plant with Completion
of Chatham, LA Project
TIGG Corporation is pleased to announce the successful completion of three 10 foot diameter steel pressure vessels. TIGG was subcontracted by SanTech, Inc. to custom design and fabricate the vessels to be used in a potable water facility upgrade in Chatham, La. This landmark project for TIGG Corporation highlights their expanded manufacturing capabilities.
Late last year, TIGG Corporation acquired a new 155,000 square foot manufacturing plant situated on 40 acres of property in Heber Springs, AR. After upgrades and modifications, the ASME code shop is now outfitted with state of the art equipment and TIGG has the ability to manufacture steel tanks and pressure vessels up to at least 14 ft in diameter. In addition to manufacturing their standard pressure vessels as adsorption units and air receivers, TIGG designs and manufactures custom steel tanks and pressure vessels for a variety of applications.
“With this project, we were able to take full advantage of our new facility and equipment immediately after the move. Working on the larger tanks in such a spacious facility was even easier and more efficient than we expected,” said Georgiana Riley, President of TIGG Corporation. “We think this is one of many large municipal tank jobs to come our way and we’re ready for more.”
