Activated Carbon Filtration | Industrial Water Filtration
Industrial Process Applications & Solutions
Many environmental remediation applications require the removal and filtration of suspended solids from contaminated water. Contaminated water can come from a variety of sources which may include: storm water run-off, groundwater, manufacturing processes, pond clean up, excavation and de-watering projects.
Each of these situations involves the release of water which may contain VOC's or other contaminants and without treatment may cause environmental damage or contamination. Activated carbon filtration is an effective method of dealing with suspended solids, oils and VOC's within contaminated water. An adsorber or vessel filled with granular activated carbon can filter the water, separate solids and waste and remove contaminants thereby returning safe, remediated water back into the environment.
TIGG fabricates a wide variety of activated carbon filtration products from Activated carbon adsorbers to granular activated carbon media to rentals and systems to treat most any size filtration projects.
Suspended solids can be effectively removed by multi-media filters or filters containing special zeolites. TIGG can provide the filters, piping, valves and controls for these applications.
