Radial Flow Adsorbers
For Vapor Phase Applications
NIXTOX Radial Flow activated carbon adsorbers are designed for environmental remediation with relatively high flow rates requiring a low pressure drop. The activated carbon is contained in an annulus between two stainless steel screens attached to expanded metal. These activated carbon adsorption systems can be used with or without an Accumulator Cabinet. When an Accumulator Cabinet is used to house the radial flow activated carbon adsorber, condensate drains and breakthrough indicators are provided. Model numbers reflect the design flow for most vapor phase environmental remediation applications. These activated carbon adsorbers are provided with fork channels. Specifications and properties are subject to change without notice.

NOTES:
- Nominal flow may be conservative. Desired contact time may allow higher or lower flow rates.
- Dry virgin activated or reactivated carbon provided as standard adsorbent.
- Adsorbent fill is based on a bed density of 27 lb/ft3.
- Adsorbent fill can differ based on variable bed density and alternate adsorbents.
Pressure drop curves are based on a dense packed bed of activated carbon. - Please consult your TIGG representative for N-5000, N-8000 and
N-12000 specification sheets.
